CMSCWD Watershed Management Plan Update

      Get Involved

CMSCWD is updating its 10-year Watershed Management Plan and is seeking input from stakeholders like you!

Our watershed management plan is a comprehensive guide to what projects and activities we’ll be implementing over a 10-year period. We want to hear what your priorities include, and we hope you will share with us!

A major part of the plan update is evaluating priority issues and goals. We would like to turn over the conversation to you, our stakeholders, to share and discuss your priorities with District staff.

Current Watershed Management Plan

The District's current Watershed Management Plan was approved by the Board of Water and Soil Resources on August 26, 2010.  In 2013 the Board of Managers recognized the need for a major amendment to its 2010 Watershed Management Plan to address the increasing public concern for aquatic invasive species and groundwater availability and quality.  On August 27, 2015 the Board of Water and Soil Resources approved the Plan and the Board adopted the Plan on September 9, 2015.
