Turf Alternatives Workshop (online)

Sponsored by the Blue Thumb - Planting for Clean Water Partnership. Register here. $15.

Blue Thumb’s Turf Alternatives Workshop is your “how-to” guide on transforming your yard into a pollinator’s paradise!

Learn about the steps to converting a traditional turfgrass monoculture lawn into a beautiful, flowering bee lawn. The workshop will also cover other turf alternatives that promote pollinator health, water quality, and natural resource conservation. The live presentation is followed by a Q&A session.

Participants will also receive access to online resources that will assist them in their project, including a series of video presentations, downloadables, and more. We recommend first skimming through our Pollinator Lawn / Alternative Turf course in our Resilient Yards Online Learning Series and then attending this live Zoom workshop to get all your questions answered!

Bob Dahm (Organic Bob) with Organic Lawns By Lunseth will be the expert presenter for this workshop.

This workshop is hosted by Rice Creek Watershed District - our neighbors to the west.
