Rules & Permits

On March 1, 2010, the CMSCWD Board adopted new rules to replace those in place since the District was formed in 1981.  In addition, a new fee structure was adopted, which can be found on the back of the permit application

The managers worked with local units of government to reduce the amount of engineering required for small projects and created a small project worksheet where the landowner can work with the District to determine what, if any, proposed stormwater devices are required for their project.

Those who are anticipating an upcoming project should work through a flow chart to determine if they will need a Watershed District permit for stormwater management.  Please review the rules for other requirements even though you may not need a stormwater mangement permit.  If there is any question, please do not hesitate to call the District office at 651-433-2150 or
